Demonstrator in February 2014 gave me the perfect opportunity to do exactly that. Getting together to create is about so much more than the finished projects. The time spent crafting with others, whether in person or virtually—is meaningful, joyful, and connection-filled. Helping people create special cards and handmade projects is rewarding on many levels, especially when I hear stories of how those creations are treasured. When someone receives a handmade piece, they display it, talk about it, and keep it. It becomes a reminder that someone cared enough to put their heart and soul into something made just for them—and of how it made them feel when it was shared.
