For our December event, my Monthly Creative Club (also known as Stamp Club) gathered to make Christmas Gift Tags and swap cookies

The tags were displayed and the pieces were cut ahead of time. How fun to just step in and begin the fun, with the design and prep done for you!

We started out with a relaxed gathering of fellowship, then jumped into the making of Christmas Tags. This even was more laid back than our usual gatherings. Everyone just gathered around the kitchen island and began using the precut pieces to assemble their tags. What fun! This is what a casual crafting event looks like at my house. When making Christmas Tags, a ‘Must Have’ tool is a Tag Topper Punch. This punch is your GO TO item for all tags, bookmarks, and treat holders for every occasion imaginable.

After our creating we moved on to the cookies. Who doesn’t love cookies? We had a nice variety and enjoyed filling our boxes with the sweet confections.

Everyone has a busy schedule and full calendar this time of year. It was nice to be able to take a few hours and enjoy the fellowship and creativity that our Stamp Club gathering provides.

I am passionate about crafting. Most of my creations are based around paper and ink and I am happiest when creating with others. I have always enjoyed sharing my crafting toys with friends. As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (since February 2014), I have the perfect opportunity to share this passion with others. Getting together to create is SO much more than the finished projects! Time spent with other people to craft is the most amazing time, even when it is a virtual gathering. I absolutely love how bringing people together enriches the lives of so many, including myself. Helping people create special cards and other projects is rewarding on many levels. Hearing stories of how handmade creations are treasured even makes this passion more fulfilling. When people receive a handmade piece, they will display it and talk about it. It lets them know that you love and care about them, enough to put your heart and soul into a special handmade item just for them. They will keep those handmade pieces and be reminded of how you made them feel when you shared it with them.
